Answers:

It is like visiting your family doctor in a way. You sit in a chair as the psychiatrist does also and he/she asks you what's bothering you. does it happen often has it happened before etc. If you've seen the Dr Phil show on tv it is basicly like that without the audience and extra people. It's just you and the doctor unless you have a spouse then if you want to you can bring your spouse with you. Sometimes the psychiatrist will speak to you separatly and then together again. It is comfortable usually unless you have a bad psychiatrist and you'll probably recognize that if he/she gives you the uh oh feeling or doesn't listen. Try until you find a good one. obviously in my opinion the advice about getting lots of drugs and guy saying your nuts etc. is rediculous. If you have a good psychiatrist these won't happen.
