I can't seem to talk to a dr. about my depression. what's a good way to bring it!

Question:

I can't seem to talk to a dr. about my depression. what's a good way to bring it up?

I have made several appointments, and I go but can't bring myself to tell them anything. I have been treated for migraines, sleep deprivation, ect. but when they ask about depression I always lie and I don't know why. I think I have a generalized anxiety disorder, and have for probably 10 years, but I CAN'T seem to talk about it.

Answers:

That is part of anxiety, bring a list of complaints and just give it to your doctor, make sure that depression is first on the list. Good luck.
