What's wrong with my dad?
He can be very cruel sometimes. He says mean things to me, my mom, and my little brother while laughing and never seems like he's sorry he said it. And today, he was cracking jokes about the Chris Benoit incident. He can be so uncaring sometimes, and I'm worried there is something mentally wrong with him. (And, since I suffer from depression and avoidant personality disorder, I'm being totally serious about this.)

your mother has an obligation to protect her minor children. speak to a adult whom you consider safe and if there's abuse, you need to get out of the home regardless of whom you love.
