In need of help - not sure where to turn?
I'm currently going through some problems and it seems their is no where to turn but to post them on the internet . sad isnt it?
Recently I've been very depressed and have started self harming - this is something I've neevr even considered doing before and something previously I've thought was ridiculous! one night I just got up and got a bread knife and hacked away at my arm.
for the past 3 or 4 years I've been drinking heavily, it's entirley possible that I'm an alcoholic but that's something I'm not willing to face up to. every night without exceptiong I'll drink at least 4 tins of larger - while writing this I'm currently on my third and their's no urge to stop until my body shuts down for the night
I went to see my GP out of desperation but was left with the impression that he wasnt really interested.
the whole experience is leading me to believe theirs no real reason for any of this, why bother carrying on - the world woudl be no different if I ceased to function
