Answers:

There are many potential reasons for what hes doing. If he IS having an episode, he might not be angry towards you, or upset with you, or having any negative feelings towards you, it might be all internal. If he is depressed, and struggling internally, he might not want to be around anybody, he is secluding himself. More often than not, thats what happens when someone hits a deep depression, and you need to talk to him, when hes not depressed, and see if thats whats happening, and learn to recognize those periods. I wouldnt take it personally unless he made an outright statement towards you saying he hates you etc, and even then, more than likely it IS a shift in his mood, and he is lashing out, and will feel bad about it later. If he is lashing out, then his meds are not working, if he is hitting a DEEP depression, his meds are not working, a mild depression is ok, but anything beyond what people would normally experience is not ok. Talk to him after he gets through this if he is open to it, learn to work with him, not against him. Help him recognize his triggers and his cycles, and talk about whether a med change is needed. But at this point, dont take it personally, it more than likely has nothing to do with you. Good luck.
