Thank you to almost everyone who answered so far (expect Crude.Humor ... not funny).

I really appreciate it. Really, really appreciate it. All good advice taken.

Answers:

Near the front of your phonebook, there should be some numbers for things like Suicide Hotline-- it would be among 911 and Police and Gambler's Helpline and stuff.

You should also be able to call your town center (again, look through the front of your phone book, or under the name of your town in the white pages) and ask them for a number. You can do so anonymously- when they answer, just ask, "Can you give me the number for Suicide Hotline?" or "Is there a free psychological counseling center in this town?"

You can also call the non-emergency police number (it should be at the front of your phonebook, too) and ask for the town center's phone number. You could tell them you're looking for a free mental health clinic, but it's best not to tell the police that you are actively thinking of killing yourself.

But definitely look under your town's name in the White Pages of the phonebook, and call the numbers until you reach someone who can transfer you to the right place or give you the information you need.
