Question:

I'm super stressed.. help!?

Lately, I've been being a complete jerk to everyone, people I work with, family members, my boyfriend, etc. I think it's because I'm overly stressed from financial issues, (I have a lot of responsibilities for a 19-year-old), working full-time, and a boyfriend I pretty much have to take care of. I need something to help chill me out, and make me relax a bit.. No illegal drugs haha.. So, what does everyone else do to relax, and de-stress?


Answers:

Why do you need to take care of your boyfriend--is he ill--unable to work--going to school full time???
If he is dragging you down, and not for a very good reason, it may be time to change your way of thinking about him.

-Stop using caffeine (at least after lunch)
-Drink Chamomile Tea, and Sleepytime Tea
-Walk every morning and evening--this has been proved to help prevent depression, besides the fact that it is good for you physically.
-Cut back on sugar, and sugary foods
-Use lavender candles, incense, bath & body products--for relaxation
-Meditate--or learn to from library books
-Take some 'me' time for yourself--go somewhere you enjoy--alone
-Take a mini-vacation
-You can try Sleepytime Extra Tea with Valerian, to see if you have any bad reaction to Valerian. If you don't, you can buy Valerian Root Supplement in the vitamin section of almost all stores (Walmart, supermarkets, health food stores, more).

I hope some of the above works for you, and that you will calm down.
