Question:

How can i deal with stress when i don't what i'm stressed about? are there any non prescribed drugs out there?

i was diagnosed with panic attack 2yrs ago since then i'vce been really stressed out. so stress that the left side of my head begins to hurt. i don't want to get an anti-depressant drug because that causes more problem. so i need an alternative way to deal with stress or depression.


Answers:

Illegal drugs are not the answer. (as one person said it was) Over time it will just make it worse. You need a good counselor/psychiatrist. Anything you try over the counter is still medicine. Also, it's not as effective. It takes a while to find the right med.'s. However, you can do things to help yourself. Meditation (your counselor will be able to help with this), BREATH, take a nice long bath, rest a while, go to a quiet place, study about ways to reduce stress (different techniques), listen to some soothing music, take a walk, eat right (6 small well balanced meals a day) and exercise all help. It is important your honest with yourself and your counselors. You have obviously blocked something out. GL
