I am having trouble sleeping. what should i do?

what can help me clear my mind and fall asleep?


Answers:

Try chamomile tea. you'll find it at the big grocery stores. It is used in natural sleep aids. Don’t use diphenhydramine (benadryl and over the counter sleep aids) unless you don’t have to get up or go anywhere the next day.
I sometimes use melatonin. it is a naturally occurring chemical in the brain that promotes sleep but as we get older our bodies produce less of it. Also, melatonin is deactivated by sunlight. You can find it in health food stores or Wal-mart. If you have an erratic schedule or travel to different time zones it can help you adjust. Try melatonin on a day when you don’t have to get up early the next day. It works great for me but a friend of mine told me it kept him up all night……He’s weird anyway.
