Is goig to the courts to have aloved one sectioned the right thing to do?
My daughter is a herion addict and she does not want any help from me or anyone, we have tryed many rehabs, hospitals, meetings, and medication. I think she is going to die. Is there anyone with any advice they can give me? I feel extremely helpless and i feel i have failed as a parent.

You have not failed as a parent, I really feel for you. Yes you must feel very helpless at the moment, but there is help out there. I have been in a similar position with a loved one and getting him sectioned was not something I could do, because once someone is sectioned it can be very hard to get them out again. My best suggestion to you is to get in contact with NA as soon as possible and ask could they send someone around to visit your daughter. Also ring your local mental health team and arrange a visit from them. Reach out for support and then you will realise you are not alone with this. Please email me anytime if you would like to talk.
