I need to get expelled from a catholic high school...?!

Question:

I need to get expelled from a catholic high school...?

hi, thank you for reading this. i have been picked on by the same group of kids since i was in the sixth grade. i am now about to go to 9th grade in the catholic high school with the same group of kids that have bullied me for three years. i begged my mom to let me go to the public school but she seems to think that i want to go to public school because they have no dress code. i already have a lot of friends at the public school and i think i will fit in there. i want to be expelled from the catholic school but i don't want to hurt anyone or do something i will regret just to be expelled. i am suffocating at the catholic school so i guess if i can't get any ideas i will just fistfight so much that they have to expell me. yeah... right now i'm past the point of caring... i am way too fed up with this to go through four more years of abuse...

Answers:

Getting expelled is not the answer. Talk to a school counsellor and ask for advice or intervention. You don't want an expulsion on your record. Many kids don't believe it, but your school record follows you. So if you do get yourself expelled and sent to the public school, you will be labelled as an "opportunity transfer". In a nutshell, the system has made up their mind that you are a problem and should be dealt with accordingly. If you want to go to college or get accepted into an intern position, you will find yourself struggling against an unfortunate label. Don't let these bullies help you to ruin your future.
