Has anyone experienced dry mouth when taking citalopram?
I have been taking citalopram for 6 months and I have horrendous dry mouth. Has anyone experienced this while taking this drug and what was the outcome.how did you cope with it and did it go away eventually or did you switch to another anti depressant.

ASmuch as cipramil is agood mood stabilizer imsurprised your only complaint of it is dryness of the mouth .drinks lots of water ...you also can try an experience and stop taking it for a while after all 6 months is a creditable amount of time of usage to request another anti depressant .that is not to say there wont be other problems with other anti depressants but its worth a try
