What is wrong with me?

I have been feeling kind of depressed lately, which is peculiar because its summer. I also have been feeling very nauteous and even when I get 9 hours of sleep, I am very tired. I am not a depressed person, but I have just been feeling depressed! I feel like if I sleep the depression will go away, but I am so sick of taking naps. I used to have to get up at 5:45 every morning, and I'd go to bed at 10:30 if that is of any help. Is my body kind of in detox mode from all of this stress that should now no longer be there?

I mean, I am not depressed like I will need medication, I just mean I am not like hyper excited as I was a few weeks ago. I mean, I know I am going to be fine. I am not sleeping to avoid any problems, and I mean as of now I go to get at 10:30 and get up at 7 or 8. I thought 15 yr olds were supposed to get around 9 hours of sleep?


Answers:

You are over tired from getting so much sleep. Once your body is used to a certain sleep schedule and you disturb it, you are even more tired.

Maybe you are depressed because you are not getting out and enjoying summer. Instead you are wasting the days away sleeping.

Go to bed around 11 or 12, and wake up at 7 or 8. Whatever you choose, make sure you stick to it. Eat good, drink plenty of fluids, take a vitamin, and most importantly, go outdoors!!

PS Getting too much sleep will make you feel horrible. Tired, low energy, depressed, moody, and dehydrated.
