Well, if you want to be a singer, in my opinion your first step should probably be voice lessons. Even if you have incredible natural talent, it's very good (if you can find the right teacher). You should search the internet for a teacher near you or you could ask someone you know (a music teacher at a school or something) if they know of any good voice teachers. They probably will.
