Is it OK for my Bipolar MANIC brother to be in a Motel by himself?

or i think he's girlfriend is gonna be there with him

he's 24, but he lives at home,

at home he was screaming at us, swearing
throwing a fit, he is manic and he doesnt want to take properly his antiphyscotic meds to keep him calm, though he says hes taking his litium

my parents usually call the ambulance to bring him to the hospital so that we at least know he'll be safe and monitered there..

but today he said, "if u call the fuken cops, i swear to god i will kill myself before they come, i'll be dead, and it'll be ur fault"

so my parents agreed to drop him off at a motel where he wants to be,,,

i dont think it was right, but at the same time i know how they feel since he said,,,"i will stab myself with a knife if u call the cops, i'll b dead b4 they get here"

I'm just scared that he might do something crazy since we wont be there to watch him, plus he's high of mania right now, what should i do?

I am so sorry for you to be in the middle of this. None of this is your fault. You could have management of the hotel to check on your brother or call 911 for the authorities to check in on him. Hope this helps.
