Wow! That's a multifaceted question that needs a multifaceted answer. I'll see what I can do. The image I'm getting from what you are saying is that you've unfortunately developed a head injury of some type after your accident based on the symptoms you're describing. You even said as much in your fourth sentence. You're describing damage to the frontal lobe (overly emotion and angry. Impulse control.). That's common with a coup contra coup brain injury.

Well, I'll give you some good news and some bad news from experience. First the bad news. About 75% of scans on individuals who have sustained a head injury come up normal. At least that's the case with an MRI. The good news is that problems often come up during a neuropsychological exam, although such tests are very expensive. But they present the best evidence of a head injury. And the even better news is that mental and behavioral problems due to head injury ARE treatable. But you're going to have to give up the idea that you can do it without medication and therapy. Because my psychiatrist is treating me for problems secondary to head injury and there is such a thing. The treatment involved psychiatry and therapy and I do have to take a cocktail of medication including the powerful antipsychotic, Seroquel. But if you get the right diagnosis and you get the right help, it IS treatable and recovery is then possible. I wish you the best.
