Oh no!! what should we do??

well, my mom is bipolar 1,2 and sitifrantic. she gets into a weird way sometimes, like she says, "i hate kids" and such. im 14 and have a 7 yr. old sis and 12 yr bro. we dont have a lot of $ so my dad cant divorce her......what can we do? my dad is avoiding her 2day because she freaked out on him last night......put ciggerate out on him, kicking, punching, etc. we called the mental health last night and he didnt say much. well what do u think? plz give my dad some advice!! thnx

I am so sorry to hear that. Mental Illness is very serious. Try getting her into therapy and putting her on meds . Once she gets the right medication she will be able to live a normal life.
I personally have a mental Illness and medication helps. But she needs to except she has a problem. Dont listen to her when she says she hates kids. Shes sick. I know how hard it is to be around someone like that but she needs help. If your dad really wants a divorce then he should go ask a lawyer the cheapest way to do it. Iam surprised the mental health person your dad talked to didn't give him advise. Call 516-679-1111 they can help with your mother and give you ideas to help your life become normal. I dont know were you live but, they can give you places to call in your area. If its really bad try to stay at a friends house, or family members house in the mean time.
