as they contain omega 3,6,&9 fatty acids, which are the latest thing pointing toward memory retention. the vegetable sources for this would be flaxseed oil, Preferably cold-pressed, borage oil, and evening primrose oil. all these can be found at your nearest healthfood store, but my experience has been that the person behind the counter, can only show you where it is, not what it does. use the net, or a library for the salmon, and 3 veggie sources I mentioned.
