How to relieve nervousness?

theres really nothing that's causing me to be nervous (this has been occuring for about a year), but for some reason at random times i'll just feel nervous or get that feeling that i'm forgetting something or sometimes it's not even conciously a nervous feeling it's just my heart beating fast, or feeling light headed or butterflies in my stomach. i was wondering if there was a way to relieve this at the time that it occurs? i do meditations before bed every night.

okay, try this. start with you shoulders. make sure they are down. try pulling them from your ears. hold your head erect. take in air through your mouth until the count of 8 hold for a count of 4. then slowly release the air through your mouth to the count of 8. repeat several times until you are feeling better. it sounds to me like you are starting a panic attack. they are harmless. but i know they don't feel that way when you having them. you may want to mention this to your doctor so that she/he is aware of this for there records and maybe they can also help treat it. good luck
