Is it better to tell someone something you did to them to undurden yourself? Or!

Question:

Is it better to tell someone something you did to them to undurden yourself? Or not tell and they happy?

I have done some wrong things to some women for my own self gratification. I am debating telling these women what I did to both unburden myself and a feeling of obligation to let them know.

Then again my telling what I did that they are completely unaware of may make them miserable and to what end. Maybe ignorance is bliss?

I guess I am wanting to take an accounting of what I have done wrong. But is the step of telling the other person only to my benefit of getting on with the next stage of my dealing with what I have done?

I agree that I am a bad person. I am not debating that.

The question is to make me feel less of a burden do I have the right/requirement of telling someone else what I did if it will greatly upset them at (from my perspesctive) to no benefit to them.
I am trying to own up to things I did wrong and face the music. But I do not want to cause harm to others in the proccess.
I am responsible for what I did and I will not cop out to my cr@ppy childhood as an excuse. I made poor and selfish desicions and I am trying to do the right things now.
In other aspects of my life I have always tried to do the right thing. I have had failings

Answers:

I say tell them. No matter what you did to them, it's always better to tell the truth. Eventually, depending on the severity of your actions, they'll forgive you. It takes a lot of guts to admit your wrong and did wrong and ask for their forgivness. Then you'll feel better and its better for them to know anyways. It'll set your karma straight too.
