Anyone, please, Help?!

Question:

Anyone, please, Help?

My parenst just divorced, my sister has a boyfriend who is very much like my father, and my grandfather died 10 days before my birthday last October. My friends have made my life since then very hopeful, thinking things will get better. We took in 5 baby rabbits about a week ago since their mother had abandoned them. They were killed 2 nights ago by a stray cat in our neighborhood, and I was forced to put the 3 still in their cage out of their misery. I cannot get those thoughts out of my head adn fear something worse is going to happen soon. I feel isolated and like no one can relate to my life right now. My make-ups darkened and my hairs been cut jagged, and my family fears I'm becoming sxicidal, which I agree, I am. Is there anything left to look forward to than another year of High School and torture?

Answers:

Jen, there is always something left to look forward to. I know it is hard to believe, but these things will pass and you will get over the crisis. But it takes time. Time not to forget what you have gone through, but time to build a little room around your various tragedies. A room, where you can visit when you desire to remember your Grandfather or your rabbits or even the fond memories of your childhood.

But, until you do get this room built, you may want to talk to your friends about how you feel. Talk to them. Open up with them and take shelter in their love for you. You may even wish to talk to a high school councilor. They are trained to teach you in ways to handle such stress. Stress like these should not happen to anyone, must less while you are in these years.
