How long til a person feels better after years of using???

Ask someone who recovered. Things will never be the same as far as highs and lows in your life but the important thing is you will never fall THAT LOW again. Congrats- I don't know if you were prescribed anything else for withdrawal therapy after the methadone but perhaps discuss it with a doctor. Long term severe depression may make you consider using again and you need positive thoughts and experiences. Peace.
