How to help my friend?
A very good friend of my called me last night to say that she had miscarried. She was 7 months along. I mean, as soon as I heard this, I rushed over to see her. But I don't know what to say to her. She's in sooo much pain. I mean, i've never been pregnant or anything, but I can't imagine the pain that would go along with that. I mean, I want to make it a priority to see her everyday, maybe take her out and try to get her mind off things but maybe that's the wrong way to go about things?? What do you all think? Thanks so much for your help!

I think that it is important for you to remain honest to your friend at all times. Explain to her that you really want to be there to support her but your not sure of the right words to use or the best way to show her that you care. It is amazing what the presence of a true friend brings without always knowing the right thing to say and do. Just being a true friend is more than she could hope for.
