Do you ever forget something someone said to you 10 or 15 minutes after they sai!

Question:

Do you ever forget something someone said to you 10 or 15 minutes after they said it?

I feel bad when someone is chatting away and a maybe 10 or 15 minutes later I don't remember something they said and they have to remind me. I think my mind starts to wander, but sometimes it's just that someone has been chattering so much that I miss something. Should I be worried about myself? Don't be mean. I'm shy about talking to people because of this.

Answers:

Happens to everyone, all ages. If I forget something from 10 minutes ago, I just say, "Sorry, my short-term memory's full. Can you remind me what you said?"
