I despretly need help on how to get rid of the addiction of pornography?

i want to get rid of the addition it is bad and i need help people say its not bad and its not hurting any one but thats a lie so please help this question is for anyone who can help so please help me...thank you

I disagree with a previous answerer. Looking at porn regularly is not typical and normal. For a lot of people, it goes against religious beliefs as well. A TON OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS PROBLEM-YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
I say that whenever you get the urge to look at porn-find something else to do.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of the internet? If you play sports and are athletic, go for a run, find someone to do something with. If you are more interested in being by yourself, find a good book to read. Maybe a self help book would be best at this point.
Most important-approach your addiction head on. Ask yourself why porn is so important to you at this point in your life? Do you have past experiences or present stress that is smothering you? When did it start? What was going on in your life when it did?
You have to find the underlying reason for what you are doing-be COMPLETELY honest with yourself about it. Find someone to confide in if you are comfortable with that idea.
