anything about a sex addiction? Is it like alcoholism? does anyone else have a hard time accepting it as a diagnosis (not me, someone I know...) or does it seem like a copout for a serious lack of control? serious answers only.

Sexual addictions are real... .Just like gambling, it is about impulse control.
I was in a relationship where my b/f was addicted to porn, etc. and it became clear that he had a sexual addiction. It became so intense (and he hid this from all) that it interfered with normal relationships, including our sexual relationship. It is destructive and requires conseling to help with impulse control. Sadly, the internet makes it easier for these addicts...
