Anxiety and this so called "dr" is NOT working with me to continue help.?
I am scared of getting off the 3 meds that he started me on. I have been unable to leave the house for over 15 yrs because of severe anxiety. I found a gov owned mental health clinic in my area with some shrinks that would come to my house. They have one so called "dr" that put me on klonopin 0.5mg/2x day, effexor 75mg/day and zoloft 100 mg/day. He never once called to check on me, or asked me to call him on how the meds were doing for my anxiety. The effexor and zoloft were NOT working for me. I only felt less anxious when taking the klonopin. He prescribed these without ever seeing me. And then, all of a sudden 2 1/2 months into me taking these meds. He said he wouldn't prescribe me anymore or anything else, cuz he said "he feared losing his license. I am thinking of taking some kind of action against him on this. Anyone have suggestions on what I should do about this? Or know if this is wrong for him to do? Like I have mentioned, he has never seen me nor have I ever seen him.

The main problem is, no dr is willing to come to me and help me get out of the house. How do I get medication for this problem when I am unable to go see a dr. This so called dr that started the med treatment just gave up and stopped prescribing anything any longer.(also a shrink was also coming to see me every few weeks)
How do I get help when I can't seem to find a dr who is willing to help me at home to enventually get out and get to the dr office?

That sounds like a pretty strange situation. I've never heard of a doctor prescribing meds without at least seeing you. I'm on the same amount of klonopin and I take 300mg Wellbutrin daily, but my doc makes me come every month to check up on me. It sounds like you need a new doctor who cares a little more about you, or maybe has less patients and can give you more attention because you deserve it if you're trying to help yourself.
