Homesickness... what should i do?

i am 13 years old and i am VERY close to my mom. i am going away for 4 days and i am really going to miss her. how do i deal with the extreem homesickness?


Answers:

i suggest, rather than calling your mother every second of each day, you should occupy yourself with something fun and entertaining so it would keep your mind off of missing home too much.
but don't stop calling your mom completely, or else she would begin to worry haha.
