I was on 10mg of Lexapro and now i just started 20mg. How long until i feel the!

I was on 10mg of Lexapro and now i just started 20mg. How long until i feel the higher dose and side effects?

I have been on Lexapro for almost a year and i just started the higher dose tonight par my doctors order, and i was wondering if there would be a several week peroid until i felt the benifit like when i first started it, or would it be sudden because it was already in my body.

and should i expect the same side effect as i felt when i first started it such as tiredness? any other info is great!

It took me about 2 weeks to feel the 20mg working. It initially took about 6 weeks for me to feel the 10mg in the beginning. I had the same side effects when my dose was raised as I did when I first started on Lexapro. I had an upset stomach and some sleepiness. The side effects went away in about 2 days for me. I was upped to 30mg about 6 weeks after that and the same thing happened as when I had been raised to 20mg.
