Do thoughts of suicide and killing often go beyond the imagination?!
Question:
Do thoughts of suicide and killing often go beyond the imagination?
I've heard of people imagining and thinking about suicide or killing and sometimes even both. But do these thoughts (mostly about killing) often go beyond demented ideas and into violent actions and even into carrying out murder? Or do they usually stay something that the person just thinks of?
Also, aside for an interest in these things, what would some obvious signs in a person's personality be?
I'm not going through these things myself (fortunately). I'm just interested in these parts of psychology and the human brain and I’m not in college so this information isn’t obtained too easily!
Answers:
If a person has Chronic Depression he/she will think about it and often try to do it. Whether they succeed or not, we don't know. They don't write about it in your daily paper, or even in the obituaries. But as a common sufferer, I realize that suicide is way too selfish of a thing to do to those who love you.
