If celebrities like Tom Cruise and John Travolta have become brainwashed by the "Church" of $cientology, what, if anything, can be done to deprogram them, so they understand how they have been manipulated, so they can think for themselves?

Like your name. I am assuming it fits so you must be very creative. You kind of answered your own question here "if" you think about it......First you say "if"....then there is the "so they can think for themselves".....Obviously they ALREADY think for themselves just as anyone else in any religion or any organization. Every single person walking this earth has there own set of "beliefs" and that is exactly why they are called beliefs. We each have choices. They have made theirs. They can choose to change their beliefs or not but that will be up to them. When a person truly beliefs something they believe that period and no matter what you or I or anyone else were to tell them it is not going to "change" their minds........they may eventually change their beliefs but something drastic typically has to happen for this to take place for anyone. This goes for any religion but for anything. I, personally do not care for their opinions but it is not for me to judge them and I know that just as I could not change what they believe they could not get me to change what I believe into their beliefs. Make sense? It is more of a choice.....not a matter of programming or deprogramming in this instance. All religions, whether for or against have THEIR strict beliefs and are going to teach them and that is the way it is. They are not changing what you believe obviously either :o)
