Who would you go to to get diagnosed for Adult ADD/ADHD? A regular doctor?Therapist?
I think I have it so I wan to know where I can go to get diagnosed.
Answers:
We suspected that my eldest daughter had this disorder. We took her to a regular doctor who performed some basic on the spot tests and asked us questions, but referred us to a specialist for a proper diagnosis. Good news was she did not have it.
If you belong to a HMO or a PPO you may need to see the regular doctor first, as to get a recommendation within your network.
