how do you know if you have depression i think i might be depressed but who knows .i have a 2 year old daughter and im a stay at home mom only 21 got married and we fight all day long about everything and since i dont have my lisence i dont go out ,i never feel like cleaning i stopped smoking to please him and to get healthy so i yell more its hard ,i stay up late eat at night watch a little t.v alone and feel sad and feel fat do you think im depressed and married the guy for the simple fact we have a child i do love my husband but i feel 200 years old and im only 21 he drains the life out of me .someone tell me they know what im going through.

You are going through depression, but it sounds situational rather than organic. Your answer is not an easy one as I went through this one with my girlfriend of three-and-a-half years.

See, my girlfriend of three-and-a-half years and I went through this same problem and we found our own solution to staying in love. And key to this is the realization that we BOTH have a responsibility to making the relationship work. The key to jump starting and maintaining our relationship rested on me. I started writing her loving e-mails just like I did when we met. I make a conscious decision to listen to her intently without the TV or anything else for ten minutes when she gets home.
