When will I see a difference after taking Cipralex?!

When will I see a difference after taking Cipralex?

Hi all,
I've been on Cipralex for 12 days (I know, a long commitment..), but I was just wondering when the differences/effects of the pills are supposed to kick in?

I was put on 5 mgs for three days to start off....then bumped up to 10 mgs from that point onwards.

I think I remember hearing something like 2 or so weeks; but I was just wondering what others experiences were with SSRI's; specifically Cipralex or others .....

Well, the dosage may appear to be low, but the standard dosage for this SSRI is 10 mgs

I take 15mg daily.
I initially started on 10mg. It is not a low dose but is a standard dose I think
It worked after 4 days but I had swapped one SSRI for this so I already had a SSRI on board.

I noticed an immediate increase in mood but this wore off after a few weeks - I increased to 15mg and have stayed on this for 6 months with good results.

I have taken a variety of other SSRI's but never have a felt a mood increase like I did with this one. It is the best I have taken so far. I have to say that it did take a few weeks for it to reach the optimum effects.
