Also, I'm leaving my kids with their grandparents and am worried that something will happen to me!!!

I would not use any relaxants or any kind of drugs to make you go through it, because you will miss on one of the best experiences that man can have, FLYING. Believe me, I had flown every where in this world and don't get tired of it. Forget about the reports of airplanes crashes. I know that you heard this before, but it is true; you have better chances of getting killed in your own car than on any aiplane. Yes It could happen, but God has a plan for you and it might not include getting killed on an airplane. Go, get on it and enjoy it. After the first jiggles, you will have a hell of time and you will ask yourself why the fear?
