Medical review for disability.?

my first medical review is in march 2008.can anyone tell me what a review is like.i still canot do the jobs i did before i got disabled. i have to go now every 3 years. i got all my 40 credits do you know why i still have to go through a review. and can they take my benifits from me.

If your disability is a mental disorder, they are not going to take away your disability benefits. There is no cure for mental diseases so the only way you can lose benefits if you get a job and start earning "substantial" amount of income consistently.. For Social Security "substantial" is defined as $900 per month.. After 9 months of substantial income your benefits will stop, but if you have a ticket to work you can receive partial benefits for up to 5 more years. You also will keep Medicare health insurance for up to 83 more months..

When you go for a review, you just go in there and talk to a psychiatrist for like 5 minutes and then you are on your way.. It's nothing to be concerned about really.
