What takes place during an alcohol assessment?
One of my family members has been ordered by the court to go to an alcohol abuse assessment. The assessment is scheduled less than two weeks before the next court hearing. He is convinced that he waited too long to schedule it and that the court will put him on probation...can they do that? Also, does anyone know what an alcohol assessment consists of? I know that it will take two hours, but is it just a lot of questions, or are drug tests often given on the spot? Just curious on what to expect. Thanks.
