Words of encouragement from fellow Christians or anyone?

I'm going through some rough times as of yesterday, not that everything bad in my life started yesterday, but too many seemingly good things flipped upside down and i just said "i quit.." My girlfriend helps me a little, but once it passes my mind goes straight back to the problems. My parents are nothing but negative and i need some encouragement. Thank you

Thanks everyone for the words or encouragement and truth. sunshinehalo, you are too right. I am struggling to believe that this is for the best and that I'm not being punished for my past. I was only saved this Easter Sunday but before that I was against Christianity. I know once I was saved my sins were behind me but I was very overwhelmed yesterday. I have nothing but negativity coming from my parents who are not Christian. I told my girlfriend "I quit" when we were sitting with the manager of a car dealer i bought my new car at essentially telling me im screwed. I'm blessed to have the new brothers and sisters in Christ that I have now and I haven't had a chance to talk to any of them since the weekend. Thanks
