What type of person feels nothing when their grandma dies?

I have had severe depression for 6 omnths and been the most selfish horrible person, i hate myself for it, anyway my grandma died and i have not felt anything, i am a heartless B**** and i hate myself for it ,is this part of depression or a horrible state of mind i have gotten myself into?

yes i'm under the care of a doctor, taking meds and seeing a counsellor, none of ti is helping

You're not heartless. The fact that it bothers you is proof. People handle grief differently. There will be a day that her death will hit you and you will begin to grieve. I think depression is a huge factor - you're almost in a constant state of grief right now. Get some counseling. There are many things that can be done to help you.
