I also feel the same sometimes; in fact, everyone does at some point in his/her life. The main point here is how long have you been feeling this way. If it has been more than 2 weeks at a stretch then your symptoms of hopelessness, helplessness and worthlessness seem to be diagnostic of depression. And the fact that you have a suicidal ideation suggests to me that you need an emergency medical attention.
