Help!!!!!!!!!?

I am a fifteen year old girl. I am about to tell my best friend (we have been friends for about 12 years) that I used to cut. The reason that I am going to tell her is b/c I am just always depressed and she keeps asking me why I am and I don't want to keep lying to her. It has taken me about 2 months to make this decision. Advice? How do I tell her?

I can not tell her face to face b/c she lives an hour away and I barry get to see her.

If she is a true fdriend don't beat about the bush just say there is something I have wanted to tell you for 2 months and tell her.
