Where do hallucinations come from?!

Question:

Where do hallucinations come from?

Answers:

When your various organs in the body sense something with one of the five senses, they send electrical impuleses to certain specific sections of your brain. Certain chemicals are released, and your brain intreprets the signal that it has received, and you experience the sensory perception.
A hallucination occurs when the chemicals are released into the brain and the brain therefore interprets the signal, thus causing you to experience the sensory perception, although the corresponding organ in your body never signaled its sensing of this perception in the first place. The organ never experienced the perception (since it did not exist), but the brain behaved as if it received a perception, thus causing you to experience a sensory perception that did not occur. This is an hallucination.
