Do you like working with difficult people? You would need a dual major in music and psychology for an undergraduate degree. Then you could specialize in music therapy for a graduate degree. Many people in music therapy can't make music very well. Most of them have had no exerience in music other than listening to the radio. It's not like teaching a music class. Many of your patients will not practice and you have to be ok with whatever effort they put into it. Focus would need to be on therapy and not music.
