How can I reduce stress and not be as tense as much?

OK, I've been a little tense at times at both work and at home. I'm letting the "little things" bother me way too much. What can I do to not be as tense as much?


Answers:

When ever something sets you off, before you react remember to just breathe. Think to yourself OK, it's just one little thing there is no reason to work myself up over this. Calm your self. Walk around for a little bit. You have a lot of tension built up in you right now, that results in every little thing bothering you. If something recently happened, and you haven't dealt with it, or you haven't let your feelings out about it... it's time you do this. If you bottle all this up inside these little bothering things will just get worse. Focus on the bigger problem. If you had no problems before and this came out of no where... you are just really irritated. Take a day off of your daily routine, go to the beach.. golfing.. etc. what ever it is that you love most. Have some time to yourself. Turn your cell phone off and just relax.
