Hospital evaluation?!

Hospital evaluation?
my doctor wants me to go in for a 5 to 10 day evaluation in a facility. has anyone gone to one of these places. im very scared to think i need to do this. how do i come to be at piece with this? part of me is just too tired and feeling lousy.to fight. the other part of me is out of my mind with apprehension. any experience or words of advice would be comforting.

I read your previous question and IMHO.....It might be good for you and your partner at this time if you went to get a full evaluation. I have done this in the past and actually gone in for what I call tune-ups when I got a bit too anxious or depressed. You know he is asking you to go voluntarily.
That is different than being taken in with 4 point restraints on and stuck in a safe room. You will find that you are not the only one suffering and your partner will have a chance to gain better understanding on your Mental Health Issues.
It's an excellent opportunity.
