hi ive been on 12.5 mg paxil cr for 6 wks for panic disorder and im having a bad reaction to it. mood swings, no sexual feeling, heart palpatations, and many more. its causing panic attacks! so i going to the dr tomarrow. im wondering do u think the weaning off process will be easier bc ive only been on it 6 wks, and at such a low dose. i want this out of my body! its been hell. the dr has weaned off me before and it was bad but i was on it a long time and at higher doses. so will this time be easier?

It is hard to tell how your body will react with out the Paxil. I took it (10mgs) for more than 5 Years and it's been 3 weeks that I stopped. Many times I tried to stop it with out success, two moths ago I started having panic attacs again and realized that if I was going to get panic attacs either way I rather would have them with out paxil. Odd thing is that when I stopped Paxil the panic attacks went away!!! However, my Dr. gave me Xanax just in case the PA would be too severe, only had a couple farly mild and haven't have the need for xanax. I am thrill to be free of meds.
