Did I expect to much of a friend I had for 22 years who's dumped me because I have mental health problems?

She was my main support as I have no family and the mental health services let me down so badly repeatedly in the past this lead to legal cases. There are further legal cases still going on as despite the fact they made me worst with the behaviour they just continued - too lengthy to go into but there was also human rights abuse. I therfore could not stomach any more of the so called caring proffession and I would never go back to any of them - there were to many that were willing to do the bullying/abusing of the Health Trust.

So, this friend was my only friend, as such, and also the perosn that knew what they had put me throught. I was suicidal last week and to protect me from my self the police arresed me. I was up a mountain with a hundred tablets and a rope to hang myself. When I was let back out, the next day, she announced, without warning, that our relationship was over. I feel she must have known before now that she did not want to stay friends and I feel so bad!

Shynecan, thanks for responding - realy gratefull. However, I will not recontact her as she may feel like just dumping me again. I would never be able to trust her again.
