Sober without AA?/?
tomorow ill be sober seven years ive never been to an AA meeting ive read their propaganda and couldnt buy into it
anyone else out there feel the same way

Nice Work!! I have also overcome addiction without the aid of any of the "A" agencies. The main difficulty that I had when considering whether or not to take that route was the idea of the constant repetition of the statement that I "am" an addict, which for me seemed to be accepting it as some kind of life sentence. That definately wasn't for me.......but I certainly have covered most of the same ground, just not the same path. Everything I was looking for when I used, I found when I stopped using. Freedom is SO sweet!! Good fortune to you always!
