Why do people criticize other people based on THEIR LIKE OF MUSIC?!

Damn...does it only happen to me or do people hate you because you like a certain type(s) of music?

Try being a black guy that likes rock...I ride through the gehtto blasting Mudvayne. Most of them think I want to be white but I just love the music.
