12 steps don't work for me. How do I quit doing pills?!

Question:

12 steps don't work for me. How do I quit doing pills?

I'm alluding to some "bad habits". If the bottle says: "may be habit-forming", I want more. I don't believe in group therapy or in addicts getting together to help each other quit. I've been down that road for several years. What's the best way for me to change my mind-set?

Answers:

YOU are to work in a 12 step, not the 12 step working for you. Big difference. Time to become a mature adult and take responsibility for your actions. Get professional help, if you don't like groups, contact a clinic that specializes in rehabilitation.

Remember, it's YOU that holds the key to your success. Do you WANT to be clean and sober and have a life? If yes, then YOU make that change. Good luck.
